Obviously, I love the clinical side and the details of dentistry, but the most important and rewarding part is interacting with patients. It’s a pretty cool transformation to see someone who may be nervous and guarded about going to the dentist and then help them feel comfortable and confident about their smile.

I love being a dad! It is so rewarding to watch them learn and grow through each stage. There never seems to be a dull moment when you have kids. We spend a lot of time outdoors, playing sports, and we love going to the lake.

I want to be remembered as someone who genuinely cared for others.

Bid or Bidwell. Long story, but it started as a mispronunciation of my last name and then stuck for years. Even my high school teachers and coaches called me Bid.

I have so much respect for my parents. I admire my mother for her strength; she has to do what’s right, and she will do anything for her friends and family. I admire my father for the way he treats other people; he is so approachable and understanding.
